AN ETHICAL REQUIREMENT

Every action taken by the Group and its employees reflects LVMH’s commitment to ethics and to social and environmental responsibility. In keeping with the highest standards, which it has committed to applying within its sphere of influence, the Group has established rules of conduct and action principles to guide its employees’ behavior and all its stakeholders.

GOVERNANCE EMBEDDED AT THE HIGHEST ECHELONS

The Privacy, Ethics & Compliance Department, which works hand-in-hand with a network of correspondents at the Maisons, acts as the guardian for LVMH’s policy and guidelines. The Department coordinates all LVMH’s efforts to fight corruption and money laundering, to protect personal data, to comply with international sanctions and to uphold human rights. The progress made by the Group in these areas is presented to the Ethics & Sustainable Development Committee of LVMH’s Board of Directors.

A PROGRAM BUILT ON INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS AND INTERNAL INSTRUMENTS

In addition to international standards, which LVMH promotes within its sphere of influence, the Group has put in place its own internal rules to guide the conduct of its employees and partners on a daily basis.

LVMH CODE OF CONDUCT

The cornerstone for the Group’s ethics, this document lays down rules by which everyone must abide in their day-to-day activities. Published in early 2024, the latest version of the Code reflects the Group’s strengthened commitments to ethics and to social and environmental responsibility.

The Executive Committee members signed the new Code of Conduct, whose commitments are promoted by Maisons’ Presidents. The Code is widely circulated throughout the Group, including to new employees, and is accompanied by an online training module.

SUPPLIER AND BUSINESS PARTNER CODE OF CONDUCT

This Code promotes a responsible approach to all LVMH’s partners. It requires a commitment from the Group’s partners to comply with its principles and to take steps to ensure their own suppliers are in compliance.

ANTI-CORRUPTION CHARTER

published in early 2024. it reiterates LVMH’s zero-tolerance policy on corruption and influence peddling. It seeks to give every employee ownership of this policy and sets out key conduct guidelines for them to apply in various situations.
