Venice Simplon-Orient-ExpressThe legend of the rails, Venice Simplon-Orient-Express has been at the forefront of luxury railway travel for nearly half a century, since its first journey in May 1982. Crisscrossing Europe's most dramatic landscapes, the routes uncover some of the world's most fabled cities, such as Vienna, Rome, Florence, Paris, Venice and Istanbul.
Hotel CiprianiHotel Cipriani has been a Venetian legend since 1958: a haven for discerning travellers, close enough to the city bustle, yet far enough to offer a relaxing escape. A welcome rarity in Venice, the property is a green oasis with its luscious Casanova Gardens and red-clat tennis court, as well as the famous salt-water swimming pool – the biggest in the city.
Copacabana PalaceOne of Rio de Janeiro's icons for over a century, the 'Copa' (as the hotel is affectionately known by locals) has graced the world-famous Copacabana Beach since 1923. Having hosted countless parties and legendary characters over the years, from Princess Diana and Ava Gardner to Nelson Mandela and Mick Jagger, it has earnt its reputation as the playground of glamour.
Mount NelsonFirst opening its doors in 1899 the hotel quickly won the nickname 'The Nellie' and became the beating heart of Cape Town. Set between Table Mountain and the Company's Gardens, the property is framed by craggy coastlines, expansive beaches and verdant winelands. Steeped in history, its iconic façade was first painted pink in 1918 as a symbol of peace and joy at the end of World War I.
Maroma
Maroma is a storied hideaway nestled between 250-acres of lush tropical jungle and the secluded white sands of Mexico's Caribbean coast. The beating heart of the Riviera Maya, this legendary property entered a new era in August 2023 following a complete redesign focused on local craftmanship, while the Guerlain spa puts Mayan tradition at the centre of wellness. Building on a rich legacy of sustainable practices – including the conservation of the rare Melipona bee – 2024 saw Maroma partner with leading environmental organisation Parley for the Oceans.

CONTEMPORARY TRAVEL PHOTOGRAPHY
In the age of the ubiquitous image, travel photography has become too familiar and expected – Belmond is working to change this. Commissioning photographers including Coco Capitán, Francois Halard, Jack Davison, Rosie Marks, Letizia Le Fur and Chris Rhodes, Belmond is committed to showing diverse locations through new lenses. Each artistic commission creates a unique reimagining of a Belmond property and has led to a series of photobooks by world renowned artists. In 2024, the brand launched the Belmond Photographic Residency to foster the next generation of talent. The jury for this award is made up of leading figures in international photography and champions unpresented talent from around the world.
