MÉTIER OF SALES ADVISOR
In their customer-facing roles, sales associates are the Maison's ultimate ambassadors.They know its history, conventions and products inside out. They know how to build customer loyalty through the quality of their welcome, their ability to understand customers' expectations, and the pertinence of their advice. In this way, they are constantly growing the brand's sales and customer list.
DISCOVER MÉTIERS OF SALES
- Wholesale / Franchise Management position holders are responsible for managing the various Franchise partners and Heads of Sales/Sell-In Departments in the Wholesale channel.
- Wholesale / Account Management position holders are responsible for managing the relationship between the company and the client. They manage one or multiple account(s), make field visits and check stores. They are also involved in the Business development of the brand.
- Direct / Indirect E-commerce teams are in charge of collaborating with cross-functional partners to manage all aspects of the eCommerce of direct and indirect business including, business planning, content strategy , website design, customer service, web analytics and web technologies. They manage also the relationship with e-retailers (non-company operated, digital platforms selling company products, e.g., NetAPorter, 24S).
- Travel Retail teams are in charge of managing all aspects of travel retail and location negotiations.
OUR TALENTS
I’ve been the manager of the Fred corner in the Galeries Lafayette Haussmann department store since 2015. I manage a team of four sales associates, and my role is first and foremost to support them in their day-to-day work and contribute to the sale. I’m also responsible for tracking and reporting sales, and for implementing the Maison’s commercial action plans. In addition to that, I recently helped with preparations for our new point of sale in Dubai.
