Discover the mission of a marketing manager within our MaisonsThe marketing manager places an interpersonal approach at the heart of its work. He defines the main lines of the commercial strategy by integrating an approach of personalized products/services to meet customer needs.
DISCOVER MÉTIERS OF MARKETING
- Marketing and Brand Management position holders are responsible for detecting new market and product opportunities. They study the competition (benchmarking) and rely on previously ordered and coordinated studies to gather information on the market, analyze and anticipate customer needs and expectations.
- Product Dev & Innovation teams are in charge of identifying new opportunities for developing a new marketable product from a conception point of view. They are also responsible for improving an existing product to meet customers’ needs better and invigorate a current market.
- Clienteling teams are in charge of managing Maison's Client data base and development. They define precise action plans at central, regional, country or store level with relevant axis of development: event strategy or outreach.
- Consumer Insights teams are in charge of primarily working in market research, seeking to discover target areas that help drive the operational and creative strategies at a company.
- Digital Marketing teams are in charge of building strategies to increase traffic that includes a range of marketing activities to meet advertising needs (content, traffic acquisition performance, social media... ). They manage online and offline advertising and media. They create dedicated content for the Brand animation on social media. They also manage affiliate marketing.
- Operational & Trade marketing teams are in charge of managing all marketing actions with the stated objective of better meeting the needs of the consumer. They also deploy the strategy defined at the central level. They ensure presence on distributors' promotional flyers, merchandising and product highlighting agreements, participation in point-of-sale events or animations and joint participation in NPT-related (New Promotional Tools) actions.
OUR TALENTS
I’m the Head of Brand Research Portfolio at LVMH Recherche. My role is to coordinate all the expertise we have for a cosmetics product. This involves numerous exchanges with our experts to create a product that meets the needs of different LVMH Maisons. Our exchanges go both ways. Since we closely follow the key issues and advances in cosmetics research we brief the brands on new developments. And sometimes it’s the Maisons who come to us, for new product launches, for example.
